Yhangry Reviews from verified customers

I booked my first Yhangry experience to take place Saturday 28th October. It was a complete disaster. I booked chef Gianni to make us a 3 course dinner to have a celebratory dinner with our best friends. The initial conversation through your portal gave me great confidence and he was extremely accommodating. Upon arrival my husband and I welcomed him into our home. I feel extremely sad to write this but his personal hygiene was beyond anything we both have experienced. The whole downstairs of our house had the most extreme/unpleasant smell we have ever had. Due to this we had to ask him to leave. We both felt we couldn’t tell him the real reason as we didn’t want to insult him so we told him our friends cancelled. We very politely asked him to leave (he was at our home for 40 minutes in total). He left the food and was keen to come back during the week to prepare for us however once he left we unfortunately had to throw away all of the food as it also had the most pungent smell. We then had to air our house out for 2 hours and come up with an alternative plan for dinner with our friends. I can also say 24 hours later there was still a slight smell in our home. We both feel extremely saddened by this experience as I have always wanted to try Yhangry and feel super let down as we had to buy dinner on top of what was paid with you. On a side note he was very friendly and meant well and my husband and I both feel we don’t want this information to be passed onto him as we don’t want to embarrass him.

We had a lovely dinner with Shaloma - she prepared a wide variety of dishes and adapted them to our dietary requirements without any issues. Everything was delicious.

Chef Lukasz was incredible! The meal was delicious, kitchen was spotless and it couldn’t have been a better evening.

Food was excellent. Lamb tikka was to die for and an interesting take on the chicken Thai green curry. The starters and desserts were also lovely. My husband is fussy but he ate everything and the calvados cream was a particular call out. Thanks Paul!

Chef Jordan went the extra mile in making sure my wife's birthday was an incredible evening! The Mexican food was aplenty, tasty and prepared and served to immaculate detail. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone perusing his profile. Thanks again, Jordan!

Couldn’t recommend Tessa enough - food was amazing and so much of it.

Katie was really lovely and accommodating. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. We had an Italian fusion meal for an anniversary dinner and Katie and her food made it very special.

I wanted to say a massive thankyou to chef fouad for cooking for our mums 60th birthday, the service provided was incredible. The food was amazing and such big portions we had lots of leftovers. We were staying in an air bnb and they managed to find their way around the kitchen with the ease as well as helping to set the table. They also left the kitchen immaculate before they left. Thank you for making the occasion so special and we cant wait to book you again!!!

Absolutely fantastic - Mark was brilliant. Food was awesome.
