I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alastair. He was very helpful to accommodate the various dietary requirements of our group of 12. He was punctual and very pleasant and good humoured. All 3 courses were absolutely delicious and everyone was very impressed with the food. He coped very well with a not very efficient Aga and a microwave that wasn’t working but took it all in his stride. We would definitely book him again for a function

Thank you chef Viny for such an incredible experience! From start to finish Viny was faultless. He worked with us to create the menu we desired for our mums 70th birthday meal and it was incredible! He listened to what we wanted and delivered it and more! The food was absolutely delicious, we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Viny was professional but also friendly and personable adding character to an unforgettable evening! Highly recommended, thank you Viny!

Katie provided excellent customer service throughout the process, she provided tailored menus to suit our requirements brilliantly. I have never booked a private chef before and she made the process stress free and highly enjoyable. The dinner was incredible, the food was all delicious and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the sharing style of our menu which provided a very social dining experience. The fact we had left overs was an added bonus! Will definitely be booking with Katie again.

We booked for 27.01.2024 ! The occasion was for my daughter’s pre wedding party! There were 12 guests. We booked canapés followed by a 3 course meal (I emphasise it was described as Michelin standard food). The chef called Guilherme arrived with a female assistant. From the very beginning it was a culinary disaster. The so called canapés were supposed to be cream cheese and smoked salmon blinis ! Instead we were faced with slimy pungent salmon tortilla rolls ! The cream cheese was in fact goats cheese and this combination was inedible as any chef would have known and not served to diners! Blinis are easy to acquire. Then the starter was a slice of dried tomato bread very sparingly spread with cream cheese and a twist of cucumber and garnish! Extremely unappealing and now we know what happened to the canapés cheese! This mistake would never happen to a trained/qualified chef or half decent cook! Mains were atrocious!! A cold (and I reiterate COLD) dollop of mashed potato onto a cold not even slightly warmed plate ! On top of this was what I think was tasteless ground lamb meat in the shape of an upturned ramekin dish ! Garnished with 3 tiny strands of carrot! Possibly 1 or 2 carrots between 10 diners! No jus, sauce or gravy! A few seasonal vegetables would normally have been provided in by any chef for a meal of this kind! Dessert was equally disappointing! A dried up tasteless tiny chocolate circle of something! We couldn’t tell if it was meant to be a fondant,brownie,sponge or biscuit!! Majority of the party had a couple of mouthfuls and gave up ! A half teaspoon size of squirty cream on the side was insulting! At £55 per head this meal was substandard and a complete joke ! I have had several private chef experiences and only 3 weeks ago had one for my birthday in Norfolk which was extremely professional ! This special weekend was not a pleasant experience! Very disappointed as it was my daughter’s special evening and we were all so looking forward to a special meal together!
