Chef Gianni’s food was amazing, he was punctual and organised and created a lovely and relaxed atmosphere for our dinner party. He left a very clean kitchen after he was finished as well!

Hi, really disappointed with our experience with Chef Ian last night. It was supposed to be a special night for a 50th birthday. He bought all the food from Tesco but worse still he put hot pans on the worktops and damaged the expensive worksurfaces. 1. We told him on a number of occasions that we had a nut allergy in the group and he then confessed he hadn’t checked the ingredients on one of the items so she couldn’t have it (it was black pudding so I guess it’s not the sort of thing he would make himself, but still he should have been ultra careful) this was inexcusable in my mind as she has anaphylaxis. It could have killed her. 2. ⁠He used, and ruined, the teatowel of the cottage. I would have expected he would have bought his own. 3. The filet steak was Tesco own brand and not great quality. The person whose birthday it was found it very difficult to cut. For £520 I would have expected him to have gone to a butchers. We would have got better food and service at Miller and Carter for less money. 4. ⁠he was rude about one of my friends singing 5. ⁠he was in chef whites on top but jeans on the bottom and not nicely presented. We saw a lot of his skin as he moved around the kitchen. It was open plan 6. ⁠the menu we paid for was not what we got - portabello mushrooms instead of chanterelles, no raspberry coulis. We were not convinced that the tart was home made 7. ⁠we will no doubt lose our damage waiver on the cottage did to the two burn marks on the worktop 8. ⁠it was supposed to be a special moment to mark our friends 50th that we all paid a lot of money for. Instead it was a disappointing and upsetting experience.

Great chef. Turned up, got on with cooking straight away, found everything she needed by herself, juggled two different meal times for little ones and grown ups, served endless delicious food and then tidied it all up again. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I couldn’t be more impressed with Chef Mike. From start to finish, the food was exceptional. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. Chef Mike’s attention to detail and use of high-quality ingredients truly shone through. The entire meal felt like a special occasion, elevating our gathering to another level. I highly recommend Chef Mike for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable, top-notch dining experience.

We had an amazing evening, everyone was thoroughly impressed by the meal. Not just the taste but the presentation of everything was fantastic.

Ben was fabulous and made my 40th dinner really special. He was easy to communicate with prior, arrived on time to prep and get cooking. He cleaned as he went along, and left the kitchen spotless on departure. Food was delicious - scallops, chicken, pear sorbet, and a vegetarian risotto main. He was really friendly, professional, and we were all very impressed. Thanks Ben! We would definitely hire again, and recommend to all.

Beautiful, delicious food from a conscientious, kind chef. She tailored a 12 person dinner menu for all our dietary requirements, nothing was too much trouble, and the crème brûlée was the best anyone had tasted. Would love to hire her again.

We cannot recommend Chef Antonio enough! He created a gorgeous meal of canapés + 3-course meal for my father-in-law’s 80th dinner which we all loved. Restaurant quality food, generous portions and beautifully presented. Chef Antonio was also easy to work with prior to our event- plenty of menu options, and he was flexible on subbing a few items to suit likes and dislikes. He brought literally everything and also cleaned up afterwards. What a luxury! We will book Chef Antonio again for sure!
