I recently had a private chef dinner booked for 18 people through yhangry. The food was good, however there were a few issues that we had to deal with during the evening: 1. There were a few missing ingredients (from the mains the chateaubriand dish did not have the ox cheek and mushroom bonbon). 2. The chef informed me during the evening that the beef shrunk and therefore there was not enough beef for the required 13 dishes. The solution was that 2 people had to have the chicken dish. 3. Dinner time was around 6pm and although we had the canapé available from 6pm and starters before 7pm, the mains only arrived past 8pm and the dessert past 9pm. We had a saxophone player booked from 8pm to 10pm, which meant people had to leave the dessert for later so that they didn't miss out on the saxophone player. I believe more time should have been considered for preparation prior to the dinner to allow for a faster service. Given how the event went and how we had to adapt to different circumstances, I would like to request a compensatory discount on the total price.

Jason prepared a great meal for my 40th. Food was incredible, great quality and lots of it! He engaged with the group and explained the dishes and left the place very tidy. Would highly recommend.

Caitlin was great. Her food was delicious and was served with perfect timing. She was engaging when we chatted to her, and ensued our evening was a huge success. The kitchen was left spotless! Thank you Caitlin!

We booked Davide for a family gathering of 6 adults. We quickly agreed a menu suitable for all, including 2 vegetarians and a guest with a nut allergy. Davide arrived promptly and easily unloaded his 2 boxes of food and kit. We thought the kitchen-diner might be awkward but Davide managed a perfect balance between discrete professional cooking and fun involvement. The Tuscan food was superb, and plentiful. The left overs were amazingly delicious the next day too. A great evening!

Rajika was very professional and took care of everything for us. She took away all the stress of cooking a special meal for my husband’s birthday and the food was incredible. She is a talented cook and we were so happy with every dish. Thank you!

This was the second time Gianni has cooked for us, and I would certainly hope he can do so again. He had a horrible journey getting here, but still had plenty of time. He was polite and chatty when spoken to. Served delicious food. Generous portions. He made a birthday cake whilst here for one of my guests. He left the place immaculate. Would highly recommend.
