We would like to discuss and give feedback on our event last night. We used Chef Dave, who was a great person but unfortunately the food supplied was quite average. For instance we chose Burrata as one of our starters… what was supplied was just Mozzarella ( no creamy centre). The aubergine in the parmigiana was uncooked in places. It would seem some food was cold and there just didn’t seem much seasoning was used. Also, it seemed we ran out of the chicken dish? We have an Aga and conventional oven and all this information had been supplied to the chef before that day. We had 2 Italian members of the group and they also advised the Arancini was not as it should be. It was quite tasteless. Chef Dave was great with the kids, they made pizzas etc. He arrived on time at 5/5.30 for the start of mealtimes at 7pm (which we pushed back to 7.30). And all his communications were good. We were disappointed with just the food and flavours. We didn’t discuss with the Chef on the night as it was a Birthday event and we didn’t want to ruin the evening.

If you're looking for a fine dining experience at home then look no further than Kit. He worked hard on the menus in advance of our three dinners together; tackling all our dietary requirements with ease. The food was delicious, fresh and full of local ingredients. Kit is a pleasure to have in your home and our whole group enjoyed his passion for food. We will be using Kit again when we return to North Cornwall. Hugely reccomend hiring Kit.
