Jose was the perfect chef for our family Christmas lunch. All communication was very clear and Jose made sure he touched base multiple times in advance. The food was faultless (and plentiful). Service was excellent and the kitchen was left spotlessly clean! All in all the perfect Christmas lunch!!

Chef Lucas gave us an amazing Christmas Day dinner. The food was top level and the experience really made it a wonderful Christmas Day for our family.

We recently hired Chef Aloysius for a Christmas Day private dining experience, but unfortunately, the service provided was far below the expectations set by his quote and professional standards. We feel compelled to share our experience and request a partial refund due to several issues that made the day less enjoyable than anticipated. 1. Late Arrival & Lack of Preparedness: • Chef Aloysius was over an hour late, having gone to the wrong address despite being provided with the correct one. • He arrived unprepared, without the correct pans for our induction hob, even though this was communicated ahead of time. 2. Unexpected Guest: • The chef brought his wife along without prior notice. While this might have been an innocent decision, it was unprofessional and caught us off guard. 3. Rushed Service: • From the moment he arrived, Chef Aloysius was in a rush, stating he wanted to leave by 5 PM to spend Christmas with his son. This was unfair, as we had booked and paid for a full-day service, which should have been clearly discussed beforehand. 4. Deviations from the Quoted Menu: • The service switched from plated courses to a buffet without consultation, and dishes were not served as described. For example: • The starter was placed alongside the main course and lacked the promised croutons. • The traditional roast turkey advertised in the quote was replaced with two joints. On arrival, the chef informed us a whole turkey would take too long, despite the event being booked far in advance. • The butternut squash, a key menu item, was missing entirely. 5. Food Quality and Presentation: • All dishes, including starters and mains, were lukewarm and required reheating. • The rice, served last, was undercooked and crunchy, while other guests had already eaten without it due to the delay. 6. Service Failures: • We had to source our own cutlery and bowls from the kitchen, as these were not served with the food. • The chef did not clear the table and left while we were still eating the main course. • Dessert was left for us to serve and prepare ourselves after his early departure. 7. Unexpected Costs: • Mid-service, we were informed that two sides would cost an additional £50, which had not been requested through the quote or communicated beforehand. He then requested the payment in cash, which felt unprofessional and unexpected on the day. 8. Use of Personal Items: • The chef used all of our foil, leaving us without any for our own use later that evening. He also used our cheese for the Mac & Cheese as he forgot his. Given the extent of these issues—many of which directly impacted the quality of our experience—we believe a partial refund is justified (25%). While we understand unforeseen circumstances can arise, the lack of communication, rushed service, and deviations from the agreed quote left us deeply dissatisfied.

Chef Maciej produced a wonderful Christmas lunch for us and left our kitchen immaculate after. We’d definitely recommend! The food was delicious and chef was very courteous and engaging.

Chef Christian was great to work with. From the point of booking he was a helpful and reassuring communicator and kept me up to date with any suggestions or changes to cost that my choices would make. On the day he arrived promptly with his team and took over the kitchen calmly and confidently and created the most beautiful and delicious canapés, and four course Christmas meal. The whole family absolutely loved it. The kitchen was left in perfect order. A job really well done. Thank you!

Jason was absolutely fantastic . He cooked for us on Christmas Day and he did not disappoint. We specifically requested a hearty traditional Christmas feast and that is what he delivered. Food quality was superb, well presented and Jason cleaned up after himself. Great communication in the lead up to the big day, to ensure he understood exactly what we wanted. Plenty of food with leftovers for the next day - couldn’t have asked for better!

Georgina cooked Christmas Day lunch for us - We had the best day. She came nice and early and prepared everything from scratch. From the moment she came she was 100% professional but also so nice and friendly. Her cooking was 5 stars plus - Gorgeous food, cooked to perfection and plenty of it! Georgina presented the food and nothing was too much for her - This Christmas was truly special, thanks to Georgina and we would thouroughly recommend her.
