Darek was absolutely fantastic, he was really easy to communicate with prior to the event and helped us surprised the hen on the day. All of the food was super delicious, beautifully presented and all served in excellent timings. He perfectly cleaned up the kitchen and plates afterwards, which was super helpful. Would be very happy to have Darek chef a future event.

What a phenomenal dinner Mari made for my birthday! I’ll be thinking of it for ages! Mari truly made my birthday so incredibly special. She made a really creative menu in line with the theme. The food was out of this world! All vegetarian and allergy friendly - I won’t stop thinking about the potatoes, chickpeas, or cucumber for ages! Can’t wait to have Mari back. Friends were absolutely raving and Mari was kind enough to make enough for us to have extras this week. Can’t wait to have her again!

We had a booking with a chef using your platform. A few issues cropped up - some things just weren’t well organised and arranged. We had discussed cocktails and a mixologist to attend with the chef - the quality of the drinks lacked. The chef also attended with ingredients for only one of the 4 drinks that had been organised. He proceeded to the rectify the situation by leaving at 4.30 and going to the shops. The mixologist attended without any ice so I had to go out shopping for ice. Whilst the chef left he also left the mixologist to attend to the making of scones. The scones were all uneaten as they were dry and over baked. I have a video of the mixologist attending to the scones - I don’t think that with the amount paid this is something that is usual or acceptable. Main dishes lacked - not terrible but nothing like the standard described by the chef (ex 2 Michelin starred chef) Doesn’t seem appropriate for someone untrained to be left in charge of pastry He was also not just removing them from the oven but checking if they were baked, poking through to see if they were cooked and then removing them Presse drinks/tea/coffee wasn’t left as per the menu for afternoon tea. The chef and mixologist also used our ingredients from the fridge. Pomegranate juice was needed for one of the cocktails and he used cranberry juice from our fridge (thinking it was cranberry) There was a missing mint and cucumber sandwich

I hired a house for my 30th birthday weekend and Marina cooked on the Saturday night for 17 of us. She was amazing! Great communication ahead of time with lots of options on food, she arrived on time and squirrelled away in the kitchen and you wouldn’t have known she was there. Super tasty Italian bruschetta, arancini, fresh pasta and tiramisu (and there were a few tiramisu snobs at the table!). Served on time, plated beautifully and not a trace left behind in the kitchen. I cannot recommend Melissa enough, she was flexible, creative with the menu, and managed to accommodate an astonishing list of dietary requirements! I have had endless compliments about her food and will definitely be booking Melissa again.

We booked Bien for a special 50th birthday celebration over the weekend, and the entire experience was absolutely exceptional. From the moment the evening began, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine passion for food. The dishes were beautifully presented and full of flavour — every course was a hit, and our guests were blown away. I especially loved the chicken skewers on lemongrass & the pumpkin but honestly, everything was top-tier. Thank you Bien

Chef Shaloma G catered for my friend’s bridal shower. We got her Caribbean menu. Every dish was really tasty. She was punctual and very friendly as well. Overall amazing experience and I would happily recommend her to anyone.

This was our first time hiring a private chef. Our expectations were blown out of the water by Chef Maciej's exceptional service!! Not only was the food incredible and designed exactly to our needs - offering multiple options for different diets - but the plating of the food and service was incredible, too! He left the kitchen immaculate. He also gave my sister some special gifts in advance of her wedding which was very much appreciated! HIRE CHEF MACIEJ if you want an incredible evening!

Lovely catering for hen party for 9. Food was incredible and kitchen was left spotless. The lemon posset was amazing.
