Fouad cooked us the most amazing Greek meal! Everything was delicious, beautifully presented and there was enough for everyone to have for lunch the next day and take leftovers home with them! Fouad arrived early and spent the afternoon preparing, and was very relaxed about the hen do chaos going on around him! He also left the kitchen spotless - cleaner than it was before he arrived! Everyone was so impressed with the experience, we would definitely book again. Thank you!

Chef Bonito was the highlight of our weekend party away! Each dish was clearly very carefully prepared and was of the highest quality - we could not have hoped for more. He was also an absolute delight to have around, incredibly professional but also very personable. So interesting to find out his background and how he has managed to gain all of his experience. An absolute pleasure to deal from start to finish. Hoping we can enjoy his food, and company again very soon. Thank you Chef!

Shaloma was wonderful, food was plated beautifully and tasted even better! I personally really liked the crème brûlée desert, the bride loved the steak main course and we had several compliments about the smoked salmon canapés. We would thoroughly recommend Shaloma. She was very calm about the event even when we had some last minute changes to the seating plan. Her waiting team was great as well - attentive and responsive

Sadly, we were not impressed with the standard of food Chef Francisco provided, it was not the standard you would expect for that price at all.  Firstly, there was regular communication before the event, which was appreciated. He asked what equipment was at the house, but never specified what equipment he needed. When he was there he was then concerned there was no blender because he needed it for a sauce, this was never explained before hand. If he required a blender why didn't he bring one? This then meant we had to adjust the sauce which was given with the starter.  In regard to the standard of food, the starter was lovely however everyone’s was served luke warm. Then for the mains, the Crab Linguine - basil lemon crab linguine topped with shaved parmesan - was freezing cold, the cheese couldn't even melt and no one could find a piece of crab within their meal? The second option main was Tomato Pasta - italian sauage and sun dried tomato - which was served as ravioli which we weren't aware was going to happen and meant the bride was disappointed as she doesn't actually like ravioli. It was also again, served cold. The final option was Pasta Carbonara - pasta carbonara tossed with a creamy sauce of raw egg, accentuated with crisp bits of guanciale finished with a shower of grataed aged pecorino romano. When this was served the pasta was cold and hard with no evidence of a sauce, the only evidence of blending the food together was butter. This was a huge disappointment to the full group having cold pastas which to be quite, none of them were what you'd expect from a private chef. This left the group very deflated after spending so much money on this activity. Feedback regarding this was provided on the night too.  The dessert was changed a few days prior to the event due to the chef not realising the allergies list which had been provided numerous times prior to the event. This was disappointing as menus had already been printed and there was not the time nor money to replace them. The dessert on the night was inconsistent from person to person.  I can appreciate that both the chef and waitress held themselves in a professional manner and ensured the kitchen was cleaned and sorted before they left. But this is absolutely not worth the money. I am hugely disappointed and will not be recommending the chef or necessarily the service if this is the standard your company holds.  I appreciate the time and support that went into helping us find another chef but we left feeling our money had been wasted as we personally, could have at least made a better meal ourselves. I have attached the photos below showing the meals.  I would appreciate a response and compensation for this experience.

Recommend to anyone to try a private chef Chef Ian made a brilliant curry with poppadoms and pickles. The food tasted and smelt amazing. Really tasty and more than enough for 12 people. He made our special afternoon and evening in our lodge very relaxing. We didn’t have to worry about washing up etc. Everyone enjoyed it. Thanks, Ian! All the best, Dan, Neil and the gang.

Communication and planning upfront was great with Brad. He was flexible to our needs and we had a great evening with lovely food: thanks Brad!
