Originally from Benin in West Africa, I was born and raised in Paris. I learned to cook while working my way through different Parisian gourmet restaurants, including the Mandarin Oriental Paris. I am inspired by the thought of sublimating a dish by transmitting emotion through a recipe, evoking pleasure in someone, and by the resultant happiness that resonates within me from it. I love to create something entirely new from a few raw materials, and when a customer appreciates it without knowing what goes into it, that inspires me greatly.
