Chef Kanika Royer was born and raised in London with a Dominican heritage. She has had a passion for cooking and baking for as long as she can remember with food always being the focal point of her family life with early childhood memories of growing up and watching her parents have the same love and passion for cooking traditionally authentic Caribbean cuisine. Qualified Patisserie chef and owner of Glacé Desserts Ltd, Chef Kanika has gained many culinary experience through working in some well-renowned international hotel groups and restaurants such as The Shard, London Mandarin Oriental Hotel, The Landmark, Michelin restaurant Social Eating and STK at Me London Hotel to name a few. Besides spending quality time with her family, Kanika’s love for travelling and experiencing different cultures from around the world has influenced her passion for food and she thoroughly enjoys teaching her culinary skills to young people.
