Roundhay Park

Take a walk through Roundhay Park. You can take a picnic there to make it even more romantic. Then visit Tropical World based in the park. It houses tropical plants and animals from around the world and is second only to Kew Gardens in the UK. The huge greenhouses are a great way to spend an afternoon and mean you can enjoy nature even on a rainy day.

 

Harewood House

This 18th-century country estate belongs to David and Diane Lascelles, Earl and Countess of Harewood. You can visit the manor house with its lavishly decorated rooms as well as visiting the gardens which are the best part! Feed the penguins in the bird sanctuary, admire the landscaped gardens and walk through acres of grounds on a long walk. A really romantic spot to visit in Leeds.

 

Jackrabbits Pottery

For a fun activity for couples, paint your own pottery together! You can spend a few hours being really creative together as well as taking home wonderful and unique pottery at the end. They will last forever as a memento of your date. The staff are there to teach you how to paint if you need it, you can also enjoy cakes and drinks while you’re there.
