Chef fazlan was great! Lovely guy who is friendly and the food was amazing! He was so flexible with our meals, I changed the menu to what we wanted and he was so accommodating. Very nice food we all enjoyed it so much! Good communication too and true passion for cooking. Would highly recommend.

Had a fantastic and really special experience! Rebecca did an excellent in working with me to create a beautiful menu and putting on an elegant dinner party with great attention to detail which we enjoyed.

As you can see from my order - I had chosen the ‘Luxury’ experience for 7 people as a surprise for my husbands birthday. As I have a young baby we were unable to go to a fancy restaurant so wanted to bring the experience to home and paid over the odds for a chef that had come highly recommended based on reviews and had advertised Pan Asian cooking as one of the expertise. What we ended up getting was extremely disappointing. The menu that we had selected through conversations with the chef and what we received felt like chalk and cheese - I found myself looking at the pictures of the chef to make sure it was the same person who had turned up, that was how disparaging the experience was. Most of the food was supermarket bought - we still have the packaging in our bin on what was used, the ‘duck pancakes’, the sauces, dimsum and prawns were all the equivalent of putting in the oven and putting on a plate. With the greatest of respect, I am capable of doing that myself and saving myself £700. We had chosen black cod as one of the options for mains and the price of the menu went up accordingly but what we received was little specks of black cod and a lot of mushrooms disguised as black cod in a big bowl of jasmine rice (rice was not mentioned in the menu at all and we have 3x diabetics who were unable to eat that amount). The ‘king prawn’ main was advertised as something else but ended up being a pack of small prawns in the same ‘sauce’ that was used for the starter (again not mentioned in the menu). Not only was the quality of food poor - there was no service and no presentation whatsoever. I appreciate yhangry don’t provide cutlery or plates but to just dump food on dishes that you are paying more than £700+ for is quite ridiculous. Towards the end, as the chef could see our disappointment and as the time was getting on - he left whilst dessert was being served and without doing the last remaining of the dishes. It also felt like the chef was in quite a hurry and when we did mention to him that the experience is not really what we were expecting, his response implied that it is due to a delay in timing from our side which was completely incorrect. We had agreed to start serving at 5.30 and to be finished around 7.15/7.30 - but by 5.45 the mains were already plated which seemed very early. At this point we asked for a 15 minute pause between starters and mains so we could pace the evening (and actually enjoy the birthday) - which is not unheard of and something again, any professional would understand and have already kept in mind if the evening was meant to last 2 hours! Again, I did not pay over £700 for a ‘quick takeaway’ meal. I appreciate if the Pan Asian cuisine was not the chef’s forte but the entire menu came directly from him, it is advertised in his skills/expertise, and when I ‘reached out’ - this was the menu he had pulled together. I have attached some photos of the experience - I did not want to insult the chef by taking pictures infront of him but I wanted to ensure that I had photographic evidence of what we received. I honestly found it impossible to believe the experience that we had - we all ended up having toast and tea at the end of the night as we were still hungry, definitely not what I expected. Given the fact that I have a very young family, I had paid extra with a company like Yhangry and selected a ‘luxury’ chef experience in the hopes that a lot of the stress will be taken away from me and the night would be a great success, I paid significantly over the odds but relied on the reviews and trustworthiness of the company but it ended up being the worst decision I made. I can’t see myself trusting the company and the reviews in the future until I am able to understand what happened. It completely ruined the birthday experience for my husband, I found myself crying and apologising to the entire family for the night as it felt like a complete and utter let down. I have used private chefs before and used other platforms such as Dine Indulge, La Belle Assiette, Take a Chef etc to name a few as well as dealing with private chefs directly but this was the first time using your platform and truth be told after this experience I am extremely reluctant to ever use it again and would go as far as making sure friends and family do not make the same mistake I have made. Yhangry comes highly recommended so I am extremely disappointed in the experience and hope that you are able to resolve and restore my faith in the company.

Chef Kaffar’s food was some of the best food we have ever eaten. Every dish was imperfection! He arrived when he stayed and worked studiously all day preparing everything fresh. When it came to serving he talked us all through every dish and when he left it was so clean it looked like home had ever been there Would 100% recommend and rebook him!

Amazing from start to finish. We hired Chef Luis for a birthday at home, and it exceeded all our expectations. He was responsive and did a great job customising the menu for us. On the day, food was exquisite and beautifully presented - we were all blown away by the quality and taste of every single dish. Chef Luis took care of everything including serving drinks, setup and cleanup, leaving the kitchen spotless. One of the best meals I've had - absolutely recommend!

Thank you Chef Felix for cooking a hearty family meal to celebrate our son’s 6th birthday. It was cosy and relaxed, we were able to enjoy our food in a good pace. Condiments for the spring roll was excellent, presentation of the fried chicken was great and lovely to see Chef making his own noodles. Chef Felix was also able to safely cater for my teenager who had food allergy. Thank you!

Not one complaint following the evening, we could not have been happier with Chef Charlie! The food was delicious and the whole evening flowed extremely, with the right amount of time being left between each course and the right amount of interaction. We will certainly be using Chef Charlies services again and will be recommending him to all of our friends.

Chef Fazlan cooked a dinner for my graduation celebration. He cooked everything exactly as we had talked about and as I expected. He asked a lot of questions prior to make sure he had understood everything correctly. We experienced no issues or misunderstanding in our communication. The food was delicious and on top of that - there was lots of it which was amazing! Flavours were amazing. I really enjoyed his food and company in the kitchen. Recommend!
