It all began when Sammy was around 10 years old cooking the family meal and experimenting around with spices, herbs and seasoning. His passion and love for cooking started from when he decided to take up a professional cookery course at Basingstoke college at the age of 17 years old. He studied for a year where he learnt the basics of french cuisine. Then Sammy decided to adventure out into the industry to experience it as a whole and learn on the job. For more than 7 years he has continued to develop and learn new skills/techniques to perfect his craft. Sammy have been fortunate enough to cook inside Berkshires best restaurants with the industry’s most respected chefs, he has worked in 2AA gastro pubs and Michelin starred restaurants where he gained the fine dining experience. Always striving to do better and improve. Sammy has been in Masterchef the professionals 2020 contestant, he cooked for Britain’s most acclaimed best critics and creating his own menus to be served and be judged, he finished at the final (16) out of 32 chefs across the entire country as a quarter finalist.
