Parminder is a 37-year-old private chef who starred in the recent series of MasterChef: The Professionals. Parminder, who hails from Taran Tarn, in Punjab, North India, currently lives in London with his wife. He is a graduate in Hotel Management and has worked in kitchens around the world, including Indian Accent in Delhi. Parminder's style of cuisine is contemporary Indian, using traditional recipes with global ingredients and modern techniques. He initially started studying Science but dropped out and began culinary college to start a job as soon as possible to help out his family financially. He began his career as a management trainee at Old World Hospitality and later worked as a Sous Chef at Indian Accent, Delhi (in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants List) and then went on to become the Head Chef at Indian Accent, London, and New York. Parminder has been part of kitchen teams that have been included in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants List, the Asia Top 10 list, The Michelin Guide, and part of teams who’ve been awarded three Rosettes.
