Recipe: Pajeon (Korean Prawn & Spring Onion Pancake With Soy Sesame Dipping Sauce)

Instructions:

Cut the spring onions in half lengthwise and 3 inches long. Mix with sprouts and prawns. In a bowl mix flour, water and 1tsp of salt. Add prawns and vegetables and mix well. Add 1/4 on the mixture (or less than that, the thiner the crispier) in a hot 28cm non stick pan with oil over medium heat. Fry until golden then flip it and cover with a lid. Cook for 3 min and serve. Mix all the remaining ingredients for dipping sauce. serves 6 serves 6

  • chilli flakes : 7 spice
  • plain flour : 200 g
  • prawns : 300 g
  • rice vinegar : 30 ml
  • tamari soy sauce : 20 ml
  • vegetable oil : 60 ml
  • water : 375 ml
  • sesame seeds : 10 g
  • spring onion bunch : 2 package
  • beansprouts : 300 g
