Recipe: Beetroot Kebab

Instructions:

Boil the potato, mash it and cool down. Sweat onions slowly until golden, add grated beetroots and cook until dry. Stir in ginger- garlic, chopped chilli and spices. Take off the heat. . Add breadcrumbs, potato, beans roughly mashed and ground cashews to the mixture. Chill. Shape into small patties and pan fry with a bit of butter (ghee if possible). serves 6

  • ground turmeric : 4 spice
  • black beans : 400 g
  • breadcrumbs : 50 g
  • cashews : 50 g
  • chaat masala : 4 g
  • garam masala : 5 spice
  • ground coriander : 5 spice
  • ground cumin : 4 spice
  • natural yogurt : 300 g
  • onion : 1 piece
  • potatoes : 300 g
  • raw beetroot : 900 g
