Take a Hot Air Balloon

You can book a ride in a hot air balloon. Bristol is home to the International Balloon Fiesta. You’ll soar over the city and be able to see incredible views from high up in the sky.

 

 

Bristol Aquarium

See the sharks, stingrays, tropical fish and whatever the plural of octopus is. Our favourite part is the underwater tunnel, with all the lights it’s so romantic to stroll through there! On a warm day, you can visit the greenhouse and recline in the deckchairs. A really romantic spot.

 

 

Tyntesfield

Fancy a little drive out? Then go and visit this Grade II listed Victorian Gothic Revival manor house . The impressive architecture Stroll through the ornate gardens and have a picnic on the grounds if the weather is nice!

 

 

Cabot Tower

The tower was built in the 1890s to celebrate the 400th anniversary of discovering Canada by John Cabot. It’s situated in the middle of a public park so you can take a romantic stroll beforehand. There are a lot of steps so make sure you’re wearing the right footwear and not afraid of heights! Once you get to the top you can see the amazing views across Bristol. And best of all, it’s completely free!

Banksy grew up in Bristol and many of his early works are here. You can take a guided tour to see each piece of art and have a talk on each one.
