Brilliant service – highly recommended
This was our first time using Yhangry and can honestly say that we had the best experience. It was my husband’s 40th and we wanted to do something special so we booked Chef Vincenzo who made the most delicious Korean inspired BBQ meal. He arrived 2 hours before our guests arrived and had prepped the food before hand so it was ready to go on the BBQ. Vincenzo served the dishes and cleaned up afterwards so we were able to entertain and catch up with friends. Would highly recommend!

So impressed by Chef Cristi, from start to finish
So impressed by Chef Cristi’s menu, fabulous food and cool, calm, collected manner. He singlehandedly made delicious canapés, a wide choice of different BBQ main course options and salads – all delicious – for close to 40 guests. We are first timers on yhangry, but immediately felt in safe hands: Chef Cristi thought about every step from start to finish, and was super professional and reliable, including a really great clean up. We will book again!

I spoke to Chef Clare and soon learned that the menus were completely customisable! I went exploring through the types of dishes she normally cooks and created something which was exactly what I wanted. Chef even agreed to cook dishes which were not listed! On the day, Chef Clare arrived with all the fresh ingredients and made two types of canapés, four types of main dish, two types of sides, and three types of desserts. Complete overkill for eight people? Absolutely. The food was amazing. Chef Clare left the kitchen cleaner than it was before she arrived.

Great service, lovely chef
First time using yhangry and would def recommend. Our chosen chef couldn’t make it but we were given another chef who was brilliant (Chef Fouad). It was for a busy bbq of 22 adults and 18 kids! Made a real difference as we could actually talk to people instead of cooking the whole time. Will be using again!

What equipment do I need to provide?
Our chefs usually use the equipment (pots, pans, oven, stone etc), and serve ware (glasses, plates, serving platters, etc) in the customers homes. If you are low on equipment or need the chef to provide this, please add this into your request (this will cost extra). Once booked in, you can directly message or call your chef to confirm on the exact equipment required. In case of BBQ equipment, we suggest hiring from AllensHire as the best option as they deliver within 48 hours and offer both charcoal and gas BBQs.
What is the minimum spend?
The minimum spend is £196.
What happens once I book?
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a booking confirmation e-mail containing further details pertaining to your event and you can also chat with the chef via your account. You can always edit guest number or dishes post booking. You will receive the menus and place cards via post. On the day of your event, the chef will arrive with the ingredients to cook a delicious meal for you while you relax with your friends.

Can I create a personalised menu?
Yes, you can suggest any dishes you’d like to your chef and work with them to co-create a menu that takes care of all your guests’ preferences as well as dietary restrictions.
Can I book waiters?
Yes, there is an option to book extra wait staff by asking your chef.
