Coming from Italy, Yuri was surrounded by people who cooked and baked all their lives - amazing talents when it came to flavoursome homemade and heartwarming food. Growing up, a lot of family recipes, precious secrets, and techniques were passed on to him, which made him realise that cooking is his passion. While at the culinary school, he graduated with the highest grades and undertook endless hours of apprenticeship. He was the first ever student to present entirely plant-based dishes to the board and also the first student whose thesis was all about veganism. Soon after, Yuri moved to London and began working for vegan businesses, restaurants, and bakeries. He has also started his career as a personal chef, which he absolutely loves.
