With over a decade of experience in the industry, Chef Sam has had the opportunity to work in some of the most renowned hotels and restaurants worldwide, including The Savoy Hotel in London, The Peat Inn in Fife (1 Michelin Star), and Fairmont St Andrews in Fife. Sam's passion for food and her desire to be creative led her to become a chef. She finds joy in the art of putting ingredients together and is constantly striving to improve her craft. Her cooking inspirations include renowned chefs such as Dominique Crenn and Sat Bains, as well as her mother and her fiancé who is her biggest fan. Sam is known for her signature dishes, including her Smoked Cheddar Soufflé and Slow Braised Beef Cheek. She is passionate about using local Scottish produce and is constantly on the lookout for new suppliers. She loves foraging, and in the summer, she has a friend who owns a farm that grows berries that are out of this world. She is also obsessed with Scottish Cheese and makes her own sourdough using a starter she got from the Lake District. With her experience, training and passion for food, Sam is dedicated to providing a truly unique and delicious dining experience for her clients. She is humble and grateful for the opportunities she has had to work with some of the best in the industry and is always eager to learn and improve her skills.
