I am originally from South Africa and I completed my chef degree at HTA before moving to London in 2005. I have worked in some of the top restaurants around London as well as Toronto since then. I spent about 8 years working for Soho House starting off in the pastry section before moving to the main kitchen and working my way up to Senior Sous chef. We served on average about 900 people a day and made all the food from scratch. Food is and has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and working with local and organic seasonal ingredients is something I am extremely passionate about. My favourite chef Anthony Bourdain and Massimo Bottura. I have been fortunate enough to cook for one of my favourite chefs, Anthony when I was on The Taste UK. Other than cooking, I spend my time with our dogs and with friends (where I usually cook)
