Daniel began his career as a chef at the age of 16 and has spent the last 20 years predominantly across the hospitality sector, working all over the East Midlands and also in Jersey, Channel Islands. Early achievements include a Gold medal at the NEC food and drink expo and becoming a National finalist in BCF young chef of the year competition. Cooking in a variety of high quality venues, both publicly and privately, notably the childhood home of Princess Diana. He has also cooked for the likes of Gordon Ramsay, David Cameron and The England National football team. More recently, Daniel’s entrepreneurial instincts led him to create the UKs first ever restaurant concept of its kind “The shed” which he developed into a 6 figure business in less than 12 months and achieved critical acclaim.
